Elections take place on May 4 2017 at 34 councils in England and at all 32 councils in Scotland and all 22 councils in Wales.
All the councils in these polls have all-up elections – none are electing by thirds or halves.
The 34 English councils involved comprise: 27 county councils, six unitary councils and one metropolitan borough council.
